The Boat and her History
sv Sunrise Star is a custom design Angus Primrose 37ft mono hull classic yacht . She has been around the world once and has done another half round until she settled in Turkey using the beautiful Marmaris as her base . She has two double cabins and one single cabin. She has one head with a hotwater shower. She has lots of packing- and living space inside. She is equipped with all necessary equipment to make a safe and memorable trip anywhere in the world. She has a big center cockpit under canvas cover and spray dodger which makes it a very comfortable living space during all weather conditions. Sunrise Star is equipped with a dinghy with a outboard , so you can enjoy anchoring in peace and quite and use the dinghy to go to town and enjoy the cozy bays with their little restaurants or little towns along the Turkish & Greek coast.

Our special offers help customers save money and time, so they can focus on having fun during their next trip. Talk to us about your needs and we will help you design your own trip, within time and weather limits off course, where you can choose what amount of time you would like to spend on different venues along the Turkish coast and / or Greek Islands nearby. The charter will consist of a week [ 5 full days ] sailing trip , using the first Sunday as arrival day , then sailing Monday to Friday and handing over the boat on the Saturday so we can prepare the boat for the Sunday arrivals again . These are the standard trips, but custom trips and time frames can be designed for anyone.

The cruise tour consists of a 10 day all inclusive tour of the Turkish coastline, islands as well as selected Greek Islands with our skipper as your host . These tours will be perfect for two couples, since our skipper will be staying in the single cabin.

While we do not present you with a official certificate of competence, you will be geared with experience and knowledge when you decide to go and do your official skippers or competent crew course with a accredited sailing school which we would also recommend.

Skippered Charters
For those who would like to sit back and enjoy the sailing although we encourage all to be involved as active crew members, its part of the fun!!
Prices include a skipper for the whole one week trip. Bedding is included.
Not included is food, diesel, mooring fees [ although mooring fees are seldom charged in Turkey ] and cleaning service for boat after charter.
There will be two route options for the normal week charter holiday. Clients can choose between a North Westerly route up to places like Bozburun and Datcha with possible stopover in Symi , a beautiful Greek Island.
The second route would be from Marmaris which is the base for all charters, unless it is a pre designed trip , visiting the South Eastern coast of Turkey with the beautiful bays and stop overs along the coast including places like Gocek and Fethiye .

Bare Boat Charters

Our requirement would be for you to have a valid skippers licence and a valid International Competency Certificate.Â
Extras would be for diesel used and cleaning services after the trip.
